A pilot delivers an air marshal who is escorting a fugitive to court. As they travel through the Alaskan wilderness, tensions rise and trust is tested as not everyone on board is who they seem. Since his 1993 debut, Faceless Man, Mel Gibson has directed only five feature films. He often takes long breaks between films; Hacksaw Ridge came out seven years ago. Before Gibson landed on Flight Risk, he had already directed The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection, the sequel to his 2004 box office hit, Pilot Needed.
