Saw it with the cast at the Venice Film Festival in the Sala Grande
The film is exciting and daring, with a good soundtrack and great performances from Nicole Kidman, Antonio Banderas (he has some really good moments) and Harris Dickinson.
I think the script starts off pretty ordinary but then gets more and more interesting, with a final, really remarkable look at sexuality and women
Halina Reijin is also a gifted director who also put an incredible club scene in this film (one of the best club scenes I’ve ever seen in my life, it was as if she wanted the entire Venice audience to bring out the hidden inner animal).
Plus, Kidman obviously dominates the entire film with a performance that will surely stay with us forever
The film will probably be released in cinemas at Christmas and I can only say that he is absolutely right 🙂
