Britain allowed filming in the Foreign Secretary’s office, an honor rarely bestowed on a film or screen production, especially an American one
Tale
In the midst of an international crisis, career diplomat Kate Wyler lands in a high-profile job she’s not suited for, with tectonic effects on her marriage and political future. Producers convinced both the American and British governments to allow them to use real-life locations as filming locations for the series, including the fledgling American Embassy (in Nine Elms), which opened in 2018.

The only unavailable location was Winfield House, the actual residence of the American ambassador. Although it is accurately described as occupying the largest residential plot (11 acres) in London next to Buckingham Palace, producers used a country house outside the city for filming purposes.
As hard as it may seem to believe, this series is also “fresh” It’s truly original—it’s never been done before
Something else significant happens halfway through the first episode, and somehow the makers of this drama managed to convince the people who make the trailers not to include it – or even allude to it. I’m only halfway through the second episode, but I can already tell you that this isn’t like any other series or books in the spy/suspense genre.
The acting is very, very believable
It’s also kind of refreshing because it’s not dominated by the kind of paranoia that plagues Australians and others. The writing is deft; plot and dialogue flow seamlessly together.
